Dafni Lima is a PhD candidate at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Greece, conducting research under scholarship from the Academy of Athens.

Dafni holds an LLM from Cambridge for which she wrote a first-class thesis on Comparative Family Law and Policy, on the topic of registered partnerships in Greece and France. Her research interests in family law include registered partnerships, marital relationships, same-sex couples, and parent-child relationships. In the past she has conducted research as an Expert on Greece for the Leiden Law School research program “The LawsAndFamilies Database – Aspects of legal family formats for same-sex and different-sex couples”, while she has worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the AUTH Jean Monnet Chair for European Constitutional Law and Culture and as an External Consultant for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

From 15 March - 15 June 2017 Dafni was a Visiting Research Student at the Centre under the Erasmus+ Traineeship scheme, conducting research on aspects of parenting.
