John Eldridge’s research is principally concerned with the law of obligations and property. He has written extensively on contract codification, and is also interested in contractual interpretation, the rule against penalties, and the law of succession. His current projects include an edited collection on the Australian law of contract, along with an ongoing research project on the law of family provision.
