Katia NaitKatia is pursuing a PhD at the University of Paris Est Créteil, where she also teaches contract law and matrimonial property law. Prior to that, she graduated from Panthéon-Sorbonne University with a focus on international law and general private law.

Her current research is on filiation and intention, leading her to question the very foundation and purpose of the law of filiation, and to analyse the influence and limits of individual intent in the establishment of parenthood. Her research includes an analysis of the latest developments on surrogacy, imposed paternity, the rights of one’s access to his/her origins, and the influence of the ECHR on French law.
