Mirco Caeran is currently a PhD candidate in “Law, Market and Person” at Ca’ Foscari, University of Venice where he has acted as the teaching assistant in courses on Family Law and Private Law. Prior to that, he graduated from Trento University with a focus on comparative and international law. In 2019 he was admitted to the Bar.
His doctoral research focuses on the economic aspects of Family Law, particularly on the relation between solidarity and private autonomy. He is trying to use both comparative law and economics methods to endorse the possibility of marital property agreements in Italy. He is also interested in European Family Law and the EU harmonization process.
