Naomi is a barrister specialising in international children’s law at Garden Court Chambers. Her research with the Cambridge Family Law Centre has been commissioned by the Girls Not Brides Campaign and she is undertaking a comparative analysis of law governing the marriage of 16 and 17 year olds, the evolving role of parental consent across different jurisdictions in relation to 16 and 17 year olds and advising on legislative changes to end the practice of child marriage.
