In December, Jens Scherpe and Jo Miles will travel to New Zealand to participate in various events associated with that jurisdiction’s ongoing review of its relationship property laws. They will first travel to Wellington to meet with the New Zealand Law Commission in connection with its project, and then back up to Auckland where they will participate as two of three international contributors to a colloquium on 40 years of the Property Relationships Act 1976 (NZ), to be followed by a public panel discussion.
Jo will then be travelling on to Australia, where she will be a Visitor at Melbourne Law School; she will be giving a paper to the Family and Children’s Law Research Group there and starting collaboration with Professor Belinda Fehlberg, who will be visiting our Centre in Cambridge in summer 2017.
