Scherpe Visiting Professor at the University of Padua

In April 2017, the School of Law of the University of Padua invited Jens Scherpe to teach on the course ‘Istituzioni di diritto privato 2’ of Prof. Matilde Girolami on the ‘Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza’.

Scherpe taught ‘Gender and Law’ and ‘Legal Recognition of Adult Relationships’, both of which were of particular interest to Italian students because of recent court decisions by the highest Italian courts and law reforms in Italy.
