International Society of Family LawJens Scherpe and Jo Miles have been representing Cambridge Family Law in Amsterdam this week at the triennial conference of the International Society of Family Law.

The conference provides a unique opportunity for family law scholars and judges from all over the world to convene and share both comparative law knowledge about each other's jurisdictions and research findings covering the gamut of family law issues. Jens gave a paper in one of the plenary sessions exploring his new work on multiple parenthoods (see abstract), and Jo gave a paper on her ongoing work with Emma Hitchings (Bristol) on their examination of outcomes in financial remedy cases in one of the specialist workshops (see abstract). Jo was re-elected to serve a further three year term on the Executive Council.
