The Cambridge Family Law (CFL) centre (Faculty of Law, University of Cambridge) and the Center for Constitutional Studies (CEC) of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation of Mexico have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, agreeing to promote and further the links between the two institutions.
The first project will be a major comparative research project on 'Surrogacy in Latin America', edited by Claire Fenton-Glynn and Jens Scherpe of CFL together with Nicolás Espejo Yaksic (CEC) and Fabiola Lathrop (Universidad de Chile). A Spanish language version of the project is expected to be published by the end of 2021, and the English language version to be published in early 2022.
In addition, a joint international online lecture series on surrogacy is planned for 2021.
