Maarit Jänterä-Jareborg holds the chair of Private International Law and International Civil Procedure at Uppsala University, Sweden, since 1998. She is an elected member of numerous academies, boards and societies in Sweden and abroad. Her research interests include international and comparative family law, EU law, private international law and human rights law.
