Samuel Fulli-Lemaire Samuel Fulli-Lemaire is a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg.

He holds a PhD in Private International Family Law from Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2) University, as well as Master’s degree in Private Law and a University Diploma in History of Law, also from Paris 2. In 2012, he was awarded the Diploma of The Hague Academy of International Law. He has been a Visiting Researcher at the European University Institute in Florence (2012), Kyoto University (2017), and the University of Oxford (2018).

Samuel’s main fields of research relate to Private International Law and Comparative Law, particularly in the area of Family Law. He has published, in English, French and Italian, several articles in peer-reviewed journals and in edited volumes. Samuel has taught courses and seminars in Private International Law, the Law Obligations, and Family Law.
