​Sergi Morales is a PhD candidate in Private Law at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), in Barcelona. Previously to Cambridge, he has been visiting scholar at the Institute of European and Comparative Law of the University of Oxford and at the Law School of the University of Durham. He holds a first class Degree in Law and a Master in Legal Sciences from UPF. His doctoral research focuses on the financial and property aspects of Family Law, particularly in the solutions that the Catalan and the English legal systems provide in scenarios of acquisitions and improvements made during marriage or cohabitation.
