Anne-Marie Hutchinson OBE QC (Hon)

It is with great sadness that we learned that Anne-Marie Hutchinson passed away on 2 October. Anne-Marie, a partner at the leading Family Law form Dawson Cornwell, was an inaugural member of CFL’s Advisory Board.

Very few practitioners can claim to have had an influence on the development of family law as extensive as Anne-Marie’s. She was a true champion of children and children’s rights, and her work on child abduction shaped that field of law. She was always extremely supportive of CFL, and in particular masterminded the Centre’s International Surrogacy Forum in 2019. But above all, she was an incredibly funny, generous person, who supported so many young colleagues.

We shall miss her very much.
