Professor Dr Thomas Eeg (University of Bergen), who is a corresponding member of the Cambridge Family Law centre, visited Cambridge in May 2017 to work with Jens Scherpe on a joint book chapter on ‘Family Provision in Norway’.

The book chapter is a contribution to a major comparative research project on Comparative Succession Law, co-ordinated by Reinhard Zimmermann (Hamburg), Kenneth Reid (Edinburgh) and Marius de Waal (Stellenbosch). Two volumes of this ongoing comparative research project have been published already: Vol. I on ‘Testamentary Formalities’ and Vol. II on ‘Intestate Succession’. Scherpe and Eeg’s contribution will be published in volume III (‘Family Provision’).
